Lunchboxes – Think Inside the Box

This site is dedicated to the lunchbox and everything we put in them. As a Mom of 3 (ages 8, 6, and <1), I aim to explore the topic in full because I would 1) like to reduce lunchroom waste, 2) promote healthy eating and, 3) one day like to create a company with new and better lunchbox products.
If you work for a company with a product you would like for me to test out and review, please contact me! If you currently use a lunchbox product you find on my site, please post a comment so that other readers can learn what you like and don’t like about a particular lunchbox product.
Thanks for visiting xobobox and have a wonderful day!!

I was lucky enough to have Clear2Go send me one of their filtered water bottles to try and my take is: this bottle is cool! On the outside, Clear2Go looks like a shiny silver bicycle water bottle. On the inside lies the magic: a replaceable filter that removes 99.9% of microbial cysts and filters 100 gallons of water. You can filter your everyday tap water on the go and save hundreds of dollars while you help the environment. It is a win for your wallet and a win for the environment!

Kids love pasta! And as the weather gets warm pasta salads are a great main dish for your kids lunch boxes. They are easy, with unlimited options, so pasta salads are top of my list for a good springtime lunch box.
Pasta comes in so many great shapes that kids enjoy… some of my favorite pasta shapes for kids include Farfalle (bow tie), Cavatappi (Corkscrew), and Conchiglie (Medium sized Shells). Fun shapes keep kids interested in food, and they are fun and appealing for grownups, too!

POM Wonderful recently spoiled me with a sampling of their 100% Pomegranate Juice, and although I am not a habitual juice drinker, I may have a newfound addiction! My 6 year old daughter was an instant fan, too. As usual, my picky 4 year old was not quite as enthralled (too tart, I think…). However, when I diluted the juice 50/50 with water and added some honey, he happily slurped it down.

Tetris Lunch Box
Some bento boxes you see online can be very intimidating! Since I am someone lacking both time and artistic talent, I like to come across bento boxes that seem within my reach of accomplishment. This bento box imitates the popular Tetris video game and seems like a great and cute bento idea that would also be easy to make.
