Our family grew by one last week on March 17, 2010. We are thrilled to welcome new baby brother Porter Bryson Elam into our family. The lucky little guy was born on Saint Patrick’s Day, so will always have a party to attend… in college I’m sure this will be stressful to us as parents!
Big sister Campbell (age 7) and brother Decker (age 5) have been wonderful in welcoming their new brother. I gave thehm plenty of warning that new babies are in a “slug” stage for several weeks before they become very interactive… however, they still enjoy holding his sleeping, floppy body for cuddles and we are already anticipating his first smile in a few weeks.
Times have been busy in our family. We spent the winter months remodeling bathrooms in preparation for our house going on the market. Our “For Sale” sign went up 4 days before Porter was born so things have been a little bit crazy! Xobobox and lunchbox testing had to be put on the back burner for a little while, but now that Porter is here (and I’m no longer tiling the bathroom floor) I’ll catch up on a few product reviews I am behind on. Thank you all for your patience during these last few, hectic months!
