OOTS! Lunch boxes are made of BPA-free and phthalate-free polypropylene and have been safety tested for lead. The lunch box and containers are dishwasher safe (top rack) and the containers can be used in a microwave. All five of the inner lunch box containers come with lids, but I’m not sure how leak-proof they are.
If you take a drink along, the top of the OOTS! lunch box has a slight dip in the lid along with an elastic strap so you can attach your water bottle, Sigg bottle, or etc. onto the top (see picture).
I think the lunchbox has a nice design and PLASTICA products are well made, but the OOTS! seems too large for use as a kids lunch box. Plus, I think most parents don’t want to fork out close to $50 for a lunchbox! However, for a working professional who enjoys products with nice design, the OOTS! Lunchbox could be a great choice. As for the price–you save $5-10 per day when you pack your own lunch box, so if OOTS! motivates you to bring your lunch more often, then all the better for your wallet and your health!
